Rev. E.D. Winslow flees Boston.

The manager of two of Boston’s daily newspapers, he is subsequently found to have committed forgery. Although arrested in London on February 15, 1876, the British government refuses to extradite him. Winslow later moves to Argentina, where, according to King’s Hand-Book, “reports coming to his former friends in Boston of his successful speculations and new matrimonial venture.”
